1. Google Play Purchases
ChromaSecure VPN subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Google's standard refund policy applies:
Within 48 hours of purchase: You may request a refund directly via Google Play
After 48 hours: Refunds must be requested through ChromaSecure support
To request a Google Play refund within 48 hours:
Step 1: Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ChromaSecure VPN → Request refund
2. ChromaSecure Refund Eligibility
We will consider refund requests within 7 days of the initial subscription purchase for the following reasons:
The VPN consistently failed to connect on your device despite following our troubleshooting guide
You were charged multiple times due to a billing error
You purchased by mistake and have not used the premium features
A technical issue we cannot resolve within 48 hours prevents you from using the service
Refunds will not be issued for:
Renewal charges after cancellation was forgotten — cancel before the renewal date
Requests made more than 7 days after initial purchase (except billing errors)
Dissatisfaction with internet speed (affected by your ISP and device, not solely our VPN)
Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations
Partially used subscription periods (pro-rata refunds are not offered)
3. How to Request a Refund
Email: support@chromasecure.com Subject: Refund Request — [your Google Play order number] Include: Your reason for the refund and any relevant screenshots or error descriptions.
We will respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Google Play and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your payment method.
4. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future charges but does not affect your current billing period — you retain premium access until expiry. To cancel:
Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → ChromaSecure VPN → Cancel subscription
5. Free Trial (if applicable)
If we offer a free trial period, cancelling before the trial ends will not incur any charge. You will lose premium access when the trial ends.
